Okay, ladies, the time has come. Let’s talk about something a little less glamorous than hot flashes and night sweats: my eyesight. Or, more accurately, my lack of eyesight.
I turned 42 a few months ago, and while I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I’m not a spring chicken anymore, there’s a new discovery I’ve been dealing with: my eyesight. It is definitely not as good as it used to be and trying on all the cute readers has definitely been a game changer.
I used to be able to read the fine print on those tiny shampoo bottles without squinting. Now? Forget about it. Labels are a blur, and don’t even get me started on trying to read a dinner menu in dim lighting. It’s like looking at hieroglyphics. And as for computer screens? Well, let's just say I’m a master at zooming in to 250% on all my spreadsheets and emails. It's quite comical actually.
I know, I know. It can be a part of aging. We’re supposed to embrace it, right? But honestly, it’s a bit of a bummer when it initially happens. I mean, I've never needed or worn glasses before and it takes a little getting used to; to feel confident. So, instead of dwelling on the negative, I decided to turn this situation into a fun, positive situation. Readers, here I come!
I’ve been on the hunt for some stylish frames to help me see the world a little clearer, and I’ve found some amazing options on Amazon. Molly has several of these styles and she's been rocking them for years. Here are our top picks:
